I have 3 Mtn Dew Voltage 12 oz aluminum cans that I purchased as part of a 12-pack that share an obvious and identical printing error. I contacted Pepsi Co. and they confirmed that what I found was due to a graphical error made during printing that should not have passed their quality control measures.
A normal Voltage label features the "Mtn Dew" logo in front with a background of white-colored bolts of electricity surrounded by blue-colored space. The cans I found are labeled with a background of red-colored bolts of electricity surrounded by blue-colored space. When compared next to a correctly labeled can the difference is unmistakable. The red bolts contrast greatly with the blue surrounding, which made the error immediately obvious to me as it would be to any regular Mt Dew Voltage consumer.
I'm wondering if they have any value or significance that makes them worth keeping around.
